Customer Care
I’ve been taking care of my clients for over 15 years. Turns out, solving complex problems with grace and aplomb makes people happy. Really happy.
Kansas City, Missouri“We have never found anyone who has understood what we wanted… something simple but beautiful… You don’t realize how rare you are!”
Creating a website with a client is like coaxing a novel into being. Few projects begin as amorphous and inchoate as the simple request, “We need a website,” and yet a website is so much more than the mere code. Innocuous questions about features and design lead inexorably to existential angst about the business plan, the target market, even their own identity.
In those difficult conversations, I’m not a coder. I’m a coach.
Traverse City, Michigan“Heartfelt thanks to Bill Powell… who developed this website and with infinite patience and contagious enthusiasm taught [us] to maintain it ourselves.”
In my role as “webmaster” for a small classical music non-profit, I’ve also faced the righteous wrath of the technologically thwarted. When a septuagenarian needs help resetting their password or updating their credit card with us, I find that courtesy and empathy soothe even the most bitter frustration. It’s truly a pleasure to help someone feel calm and in control.
Gower, Missouri“You are competent and honest and communicate very well (a rare quality in a techie 🙂).”
I love nurturing long-term relationships with clients, where my ongoing work is a mix of your recurring needs and new, interesting problems to solve. If you’re ready to collaborate with a professional who puts a premium on listening, overdelivering, and warm, mutual respect, contact me now.
