Toastmasters
I served as President of my local Toastmasters club from 2013 to 2014.
This was a warm, small group in a small town, but it was still a growing experience to take the helm when almost all the members were at least ten years my senior.
I have fond memories of this group, and I’m curious to see how the dynamics would be different now that I live in a city and the club would have so many more members.
My club was Club #4992, District 29, in Front Royal, Virginia. Formerly the Shenandoah Royal Orators Club, now Veterans Speak.
